The antidote to apathy

Politics affects us all. Talk to anyone for long enough and you will find something that they feel strongly about. Maybe it is the way that war veterans are treated when they come back home or the local post office closing down; we all have something that matters to us.

So why then do so many people choose not to get involved? Is it apathy? Dave Meslin, a Toronto-based ‘Community Choreographer’, says no. In the video below, he identifies 7 barriers that keep us from taking part in our communities, even when we truly care:
